US Surveillance

Today legal powers which allowed American agencies to collect mass random phone data of any US citizen has expired due to the Senate not comming to a conclusion. However, the White House-backed Freedom Act has gone ahead; which will most likely lead to a similar surveillance act being approved within the next week. So, Americans you’re safe for the next couple of days, then the NSA will be back watching you. Hopefully more transparency will come with these new laws; as we currently don’t know exactly what the NSA and other similar agencies in the UK, like GCHQ. Maybe they would be trusted, if they were more transparent.
