“Traffic cop” stolen in Scotland

Bob’s job was to curb speeding, but he ended up removed from the street.

A cardboard cop who had been put on the street to curb traffic violations was stolen in Scotland, according to local police.

The card, which was named Bob, had a life-size photo of a policeman wielding radar.

The goal was that drivers, when they saw Bob, afraid of getting a ticket, would reduce their speed, thus reducing the risk of accidents.

The fact occurred in late 2019, and it seems that the drivers were not very pleased, as someone removed Bob from his checkpoint.

North East Fife police called on residents to provide information to help locate the “priceless member” of the team.
