Police Raid Uncovers Cannabis Farm

Police have invaded an abandoned industrial unit on Hope Street and three men have been arrested after drug plans were found in the location.

Three men have been arrested after police have found a £250,000 cannabis farm in Salford, Officers carried out the drugs warrant search on the abandoned industrial unit in the early hours of the morning around 9:30am, the raid consisted of finding 600 cannabis plants. The three men in question ages, 48, 49 and 51, are all arrested on the suspicion of cultivating cannabis and have since remained in police customer for questioning. The drug warrant was carried out as part of the GMP’s Operating Gulf, this is a partnership to reduce serious and organised crime inside the Salford Area.
