First Smartphone 3D Printer for $99
First Smartphone 3D Printer for $99

Olo has released the first 3D Printer which half of its hardware is currently in your smartphone, on Kickstarter for only $99 (approximately £68). Any smartphone can be used with the Olo app installed on it, which is available on the Google Play store, Apple Store and Microsoft Store, meaning no matter what smartphone you have.

This technology uses light (from the light that is displayed through your smartphone via the Olo app) to harden the special ink (which is poured into the rectangular mold, above the smartphone, which is in a different sector).

They have over 16,000 backers of Kickstarter, which helped Olo to break the record for the most preordered 3D printers in the history of Kickstarter.
