Exploding British Spiders

Tiny yellow spiders are popping up around Britain in clusters. The spiders are known to be baby garden spiders, and have been hatching around this time of year, they have been spotted clinging onto door handles, bins, walls and in some cases bike tyres!!

If you refer to the British Arachnological society, when they are born, small egg-sized clusters of spiders are found on thing webs which when disturbed by people will explode, and the spiders will disperse into safety locations along there thin silk safety lines.

“Once the danger has passed they climb back up the web and form a clump again”

Although many people will be shimmering at the thought of hundreds of spiders evolving from one little egg, they are to be reassured by many experts that they are in fact harmless to humans and carry no potential danger.
