Bethesda announced at their small E3 conference that the Skyrim Remastered Edition will be released for Xbone/PS4/PC on the 28th of October this year.

Which means owners of the current generation of consoles (the Xbox One and PS4), will not only be able to play Skyrim, but also have the ability to use Mods.

Although PC owners do have a few benefits as well, such as the enhanced graphics (which still apply to console), where they promised “remastered art and effects, volumetric god rays (i.e. better lighting), dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections, and more realistic snow and water”.

As well as if a PC user owns the game already, with all add-ons, or the Legendary Edition, will “get a free upgrade to Skyrim Special Edition” upon the release of the game (which they officially stating in one of their tweet below).
