Alton Towers Smiler Ride Crash

Alton Towers may face a huge law suit and pay out. The reason behind this is the Smiler ride crashed leaving four people seriously injured. The Alton Towers bosses have accepted full responsibility and have said they will compensate the victims. Among the four victims is a 17 year old girl, which some are disputing is left the worse off as she had to have her leg amputated above the knee.

Leah Washington, who lives in Barnsley, was on her first date with her new boyfriend Joe Pugh, when there carriage crashed into another.

Vicky Balch and Daniel Thorpe arse 2 other seriously injured passengers, who are in hospital and said to be described as ‘serious but stable’ conditions. The victims are expected to receive millions of pounds in compensation, the lawyer who represents them has one secured the record pay-out for personal injury claims in Britain which is a substantial £23 Million.

Paul Paxton whom is the head of Stewarts Law- the personal injury firm representing Joe, Leah and Miss Balch- is known for securing high compensation claims and has previously helped a school girl who was left paralysed in a car crash receive a record payment.
