MrBeast Helping To Remove 13 million KGs Of Plastic From The Ocean

Popular youtuber MrBeast (with over 75 million subscribers) has made a video which involves him partnering up with TeamSeas in the journey to removing 13million kgs (30 million pounds) of plastic waste from the ocean. The video showcases beast teaming up with many local residents cleaning one of the dirtiest beaches in the world, littered with trash and plastic. (Click here to watch the full video) At the end of the video he announces that he is teaming up with TeamSeas and asking for viewers for help on removing over 30million pounds of plastic waste and trash from the seas by donating through the TeamSeas website. Up to now they where able to raise over $10 million in funds and removed 16 million pounds of trash with the help of his viewers.

This has created massive impact with the plastic waste issue has it is a big problem especially for the oceans as it is the main target for plastic waste to be dumped at. It is evidence that there is so much plastic waste in the seas that when a group of researchers dived into the Mariana trench (the deepest oceanic trench on earth) 36,000 feet deep and found plastic waste floating in the deepest ocean in the world. This will allow for our oceans to be cleaner and sea creatures to live more freely.
