Fiber Optic Cable is made out of glass and it uses light signal to send data.it is not affected by electromagnetic or radio frequency so it is really reliable. fiber optic cables are created for long distance and have very high bandwidth and speed that is one of the main reasons why people use it. Fiber Optic Cables are more expensive than copper cables and harder to set up. Lastly, they transport data using pulses of light. When you send one signal it is called single mode but one you send different light at different angles it is called multi mode. you can send 1260 signals at a time.

Co-Axcial Cables send one signal at a time.it looks like TV Ariel but different. How it looks like is its enfolded by insulation and then shield with wire this is done so that interference is reduced. There are two types of Co-Axcial Cables the first one is called Thicknet or 10Base5.what this means is the 10 stands for 10 megabits per second ,base line and the 5 stands how far it travels 500m.and the second one is called Thinnet or 10base2 it is the same as the other but a bit different the 10 stands for 10 megabits per second, baseline 200m.lastly, it is used in the Bus topology.
