Earlier today the retail giant Amazon revealed the New Xbox One by accidentally posting the product page prematurely here, which was supposed to be officially announced at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
This new Xbox One will come with a 1TB hard drive, as well as a copy of Halo: Master Chief Collection (which is a collection of all the Halo games that have been released in the franchise), here is (or was) the original full description of this New Xbox One was:
“There’s only one place to play the best exclusives and biggest blockbusters this year, like Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Forza Motorsport 6. Experience the most advanced multiplayer on Xbox Live, powered by hundreds of thousands of servers that maximize performance while reducing lag and cheating. And quickly switch back-and-forth between games, live TV, and apps. Now includes a 1TB hard drive for storing games and media, a controller with a 3.5mm headset jack, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the definitive Halo experience on Xbox One. Play through The Master Chief’s entire story with Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary, newly remastered Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4.” – Amazon
As soon as they noticed their mistake by accidentally posting the product page prematurely, they attempted to remove the from their listings, although by then it already found itself on social media.
The listing states (or stated since it has now been removed) the New Xbox One will cost $399.99, which equates to approximately £260, when it does come to the UK you can expect it to cost at least £300.
Microsoft have refused to confirm this news but instead hyped up their conference at E3. a Microsoft spokesperson stated:
“We’re gearing up for an exciting E3 where we’ll showcase more games and experiences. We have nothing further to share at this time.” – Microsoft spokesperson
